Job Summary:
As a Liaison Officer at Toyota Iligan, you will be responsible for managing and facilitating communication between the dealership and external agencies, including government bodies, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, managing documentation, and supporting the dealership’s operations through effective coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the dealership complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines set by automotive, financial, and local government bodies.
- Prepare, process, and manage all necessary documents required for compliance, licensing, registrations, and other legal processes.
- Act as the primary point of contact between Toyota Iligan and external agencies, effectively communicating and advocating on behalf of the dealership.
- Attend meetings, briefings, and negotiations with government officials, regulatory authorities, and other external parties.
- Maintain meticulous records of all communications, submissions, and transactions made with external entities.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management detailing compliance activities, outcomes, and any issues encountered.
- Assist various departments within the dealership by providing information and guidance on regulatory requirements and changes.
- Support the finance and sales teams in understanding and implementing procedures that comply with external regulations.
- Manage the application, renewal, and maintenance of all necessary licenses, permits, and certifications required for dealership operations.
- Monitor expiration dates and renewal requirements to ensure continuous compliance.
- Address and resolve any issues arising from interactions with external agencies, ensuring that dealership operations are not adversely affected.
- Escalate critical issues to senior management with proposed solutions and recommendations.
