Job Summary:
The Parts Counterman is responsible for assisting customers and internal service teams by accurately identifying, recommending, and selling genuine Toyota parts, accessories, and related products. This role ensures excellent customer service, efficient parts transactions, and proper coordination with the parts and warehouse operations to support smooth after-sales service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Parts Sales & Upselling:
- Effectively market and upsell genuine Toyota parts, accessories, and related products.
- Assist customers and service personnel in identifying the correct parts based on vehicle specifications and service requirements.
- Promote value-added products to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue.
- Customer Service & Relationship Management:
- Provide excellent customer service both face-to-face and over the phone.
- Handle customer inquiries, quotations, and order processing in a professional and timely manner.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal departments.
- Inventory & Warehousing Support:
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure availability and timely release of parts.
- Assist in monitoring stock levels and reporting fast-moving or critical items.
- Support proper handling, storage, and issuance of parts in compliance with standard procedures.
- Documentation & Administrative Tasks:
- Prepare sales invoices, delivery receipts, and related documentation accurately.
- Maintain organized records of parts transactions and customer requests.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and Toyota standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Proven ability to market and upsell dealership parts, accessories, and related products.
- Demonstrated expertise in customer service and relationship management, both face-to-face and over the phone.
- Warehousing experience is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
