At Toyota Iligan City, we believe that every small action has the power to make a big impact. On December 14, 2024, we proudly participated in the National Clean-up and Mangrove Seed Planting Day under the ‘Start Your Impossible’ initiative. This meaningful activity took place at Bayug Island, Hinaplanon, Iligan City, bringing our community together to work toward a sustainable future.
What made this event even more inspiring was the support of our very own Paralympic champion Mr. Ernie Gawilan, whose Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) advocacy continues to uplift and inspire countless lives. Guided by his vision and determination, the event reminded us that limits exist only in the mind and that every effort counts in creating a greener, better world.
The mangrove planting and clean-up drive was about environmental preservation and building resilience for future generations. Mangroves are crucial in protecting coastal areas, preventing erosion, and fostering marine biodiversity. Through this initiative, we strengthened our commitment to environmental sustainability and community development.
To everyone who participated—thank you for your passion and dedication! Your efforts are proof that, together, we can take meaningful steps toward safeguarding our environment and empowering a brighter tomorrow.
Let’s continue driving change, breaking barriers, and challenging the impossible. Together, we’re making a difference, one small action at a time.
Stay tuned for more community initiatives from Toyota Iligan City as we continue to make strides toward a more sustainable future!
